If you subscribe to Our State Magazine you read Phil's daughter Elizabeth's editorial comments about her dad. For 17 days Phil was in the ICU at Moses Cone Hospital on a ventilator. He had surgery for a diseased lung and lost 18% of his lung to cancer. Lloyd talked to Elizabeth today and learned that Phil has been home for two weeks now and is doing better.
