20160412 Coach Hawkins passes away, age 95

Memorial service is at Hartsell Funeral Home, Thursday, April 14,2016 1:00 pm.

The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle on Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm  at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jim Yow.

1990 AHS 1990 Reunion at High School

Below are videos from our 1990 Reunion.It is in 6 parts. Total time is about 1 1/2 hours. We met in the afternoon in a basement area of the High School, then toured the School, had dinner at a country club, and the next day had a service and included memories of deceased members. Toby Bean Boyea passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 after a long illness. She was born on November 8, 1936 to the late George and Effie Taylor Bean of Asheboro, North Carolina. She was a retired teacher from Hampton Public Schools. Toby was a graduate of Pfieffer College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.
